Receivable Management Group offers collection services to meet your needs. We are fully computerized, and use a predictive dialer, which can call five times the number of accounts than an agency on a manual dial system. RMG is a member of the American Collectors Association. Our collectors regularly attend A.C.A. seminars on the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, telephone collection and skiptracing. They have been tested by A.C.A. and have earned their Collector Certificate. Less than 5% of the 75,000 debt collectors associated with A.C.A. nationwide are certified collectors.
Collection Procedure
Receivable Management Group will mail each account a letter, informing the debtor that they have been turned over for collection. Unless the debtor calls, their account will come up for collection work action 14 days from the day it is keyed in. After 14 days the account will be assigned to a collector who will work with the debtor. The number of days from the first letter to collection action can be changed to either a shorter or longer period of time, depending upon the client's wishes. It is RMG's intent to have the account paid as quickly as possible, based on the debtor's ability. Accounts not paying from the letter or from the collector's efforts then will be reviewed by our office manager for further action. Receivable Management Group will list the account with a national credit reporting agency and/or recommend to you that legal action be taken. We will promptly notify you of all accounts that are uncollectible.
